“We have 2 boys who have been taking guitar and drum lessons for the past 8 months and have been having a great time and learning a lot. They started at age 7 with no prior musical experience and each has a 45 minute lesson taught by the same instructor (so one instructor comes to our house and does the lessons back to back) and this has worked really well. We are really happy with everything and most importantly, our kids are learning music and having fun. I highly recommend this for anyone whose kids are interested in learning an instrument. The instructor is dependable and has established a great relationship with both boys and has been great.”

“We recommend Moses “Mostai” Staimez and the Atlanta School of Musical Arts in the highest possible terms. Before we came to know Mostai, we had tried out a couple of different music teachers for our young daughter, but we were unable to find someone with all characteristics we were looking for: top-notch, seasoned technical skills as a musician and as a teacher; a teaching philosophy that makes learning fun and motivating for a young student; the delicate balance of making the lessons a joy for the student while not sacrificing rigor and effectiveness; and the magic of working well with young children. Mostai, who teaches our daughter guitar, combines all of these characteristics brilliantly. In addition, his sense of organization and efficient communication with us is superb. Our daughter looks forward to lessons with Mostai with great anticipation (how common is that?). We as parents take pleasure in working with him, enjoying the fact that our daughter is being exposed not only to music, but also to a human being we hold in high esteem.”

My grandsons enjoy their lessons and are progressing as expected. It is exciting to see their love for music grow. I would refer this organization to others seeking similar services. Mostai, the organization’s contact, is cordial and helpful.”

“My 8 year old daughter has been taking private piano and voice lessons in our home through Atlanta School of Musical Arts for about 6 months and I have been completely happy with the service. Her instructor, Paige Hamilton, is a wonderful young woman. A talented professional singer and a good pianist in her own right, Paige is very professional, organized, and punctual, yet she is also very patient, encouraging, and does her best to make the lessons fun for my daughter. I also appreciate that Paige leaves written notes on the assigned practice material for each week, and I also receive “lesson notes” via email each week. I have also found Atlanta School of Musical Arts to be professional, responsive and easy to work with, from the initial phone/email contact, to scheduling a sample class, to the automated system for making monthly payments, to allowing me to customize the lessons to suit my daughter’s age and interests (her class is just 15 minutes of piano and 15 minutes of voice 1 time per week, which is perfect for her at this age). Overall, Atlanta School of Musical Arts and the instructor we were lucky to be assigned have been a very good fit for my family!”

“My son began taking guitar lessons with Atlanta School of Musical Arts when he was 5 years old. He is now 6 and I am amazed at his progress and ability. I am most pleased with how the instructor uses songs that he enjoys in order to keep him interested in learning. Additionally, the concert experience significantly increased his confidence. I would recommend the school to any parent who is interested in their child not only excelling, but also enjoying the learning process.”

“Mostai has been providing in-house guitar lessons for my son for about a year and we are very pleased. It is so nice to let him fight the traffic, saving me time and energy. He is always prompt and courteous. You can tell he plans ahead for the lesson and is quite talented so he can quickly modify it “on the fly” if needed. He also uses a variety of technology tools and the combination keeps my son interested and learning. He is well-organized in the scheduling and billing too.”
– Julie Read, Atlanta GA
“When we were looking for a guitar teacher for our son we were fortunate to find the Atlanta School of Musical Arts. Our son’s instructor has a way that brings out the best in him. He has a talent to encourage his students, and he teaches them not just how to play, but also the theory behind the music. the Atlanta School of Musical Arts truly aim to bring out the best from their students and are successful at doing so. Anyone who will study under them will realize what we are talking about.”

“My son decided he wanted to play piano (he’s 17) but didn’t want the traditional “learning to read music” basic lessons – he just wanted to play. It is amazing to me how much he has learned from Mostai and how well he is doing. Mostai is teaching him the way he wants to learn so it’s a perfect fit!”
– Lori Morse, Smyrna GA
“My son has been taking lessons with Mostai for a little over a year now. My son enjoys his lessons and enjoys Mostai’s teaching technique which allows my son to choose songs that he is interested in. Mostai is always encouraging and has been easy to work with regarding scheduling the lessons.”

“When I first started having lessons with the Atlanta School of Musical Arts all I knew about guitar were basic chords. However, after about a year and a half of lessons my skills have grown way beyond what I thought I would ever be able to accomplish as a guitar player. My instructor’s knowledge on guitar, music theory, recording and teaching have opened my eyes to what It takes to be a professional guitarist in today’s music world. He helped me with playing songs like “while my guitar gently weeps” and “September” to understanding what various kinds of guitar pedals do. The lessons have given me the tools I needed to become the guitarist I have always dreamed of being. Thanks for everything!”
– Aryeh Monk, Atlanta GA
“My instructor is an awesome teacher! Learning to play the guitar can be frustrating, but he was very patient with me and made sure I understood what we were learning before moving on to another lesson. I started as a beginner and after only 3 lessons, I was able to play chords and notes that I had no idea I was capable of learning! I highly recommend taking lessons from the Atlanta School of Musical Arts, you won’t be disappointed!”
– Jay Foston, Atlanta GA
“I can’t say enough about Mostai from the Atlanta School of Musical Arts. I was looking for an instructor for two things: as a person who could help me with my songwriting and as a guitar and music instructor for my daughter. Mostai is an expert and consummate professional. Being that he has actually played with some big bands and recording artists, he taught me what it really takes to make it out there in the recording world. With my songs he took the time to listen and told me what the recording industry is looking for today. It changed the entire way I write songs. Mostai also goes the extra mile making sure you or your child gets more than what you have paid for, with tips and things that he has learned along the way as professional musician. At the same time he also teaches you the theory so that you can do it all. The knowledge of the instructors at the Atlanta School of Musical Arts is worth more than their fees, don’t miss out on it.“
